A clash of interests

Well one problem when I forsaw but thought I would be able to avoid is a clash of interests between my main sex toy website and this sextoywizard project. The reality is that it is hard to use promote two sites in the same niche. The problem is whenever I have good fiverr work done, I want to use it for sensualsizz... plus you can only think about sex toys so much a day, it gets old after a while. SO with that said sextoywizard.com is on hold. I will continue to use fiver and blog about it, perhaps to promote a bike parts site.

Fiver saved me $45

I ran into a problem with urls when switching from zen-cart to magento for my primary sex toy website, you know that one that is my baby? Anyhow I was freaking I couldn't figure out an easy way to fix it. People were suggesting url rewrite mods, that I was clueless on. My regular programmer said it would cost $50 for him to fix the problem. Feeling like a Jew this week after some huge expenses I recalled a Fiverr gig by solvedstuff where he would solve your magento problem for a fiverr. I sent him a message and got a reply as shown the the image. A few minutes later it was fixed. Totally rad. Two BIG NICE D CUPS for solvedstuff.

Best of Fiverr

Well not quite the best of fiverr but still good. Polar's link wheel service has been complete. I actually hired Ditas to write an article for polar to use, but her time frame didn't line up with his and to avoid dragging polar's time out, he offered to find an article and spin it, for use on this project. The article he pulled was decent and used some keywords.

He must've not been to effective with his time, as I just noticed that the 16 link wheel has been cancelled and he is now only offer a 10 link wheel. I do find one problem with his link wheel and that is one broken link, and there may be more as I have not checked them all. I requested he fix it, but I have gotten no response. Now that I check it, that page no longer exists. And as I check more, I realize there may be some flaws in the wheel. So I'll let you check. I'll save the breast cup size rating of this fiverr for a bit, until I figure out how well the link wheel is going.

$20 spent. What's next on Fiverr?

So I've spent $20 so far on this fiverr project.

$5 fiverr header: fail

$5 fiverr article: win

$5 fiverr article submit: win

$5 fiverr link wheel: still in progress.

Whats next? Well after all these links get built I'll probably lay low for a few weeks, as not to get

the big G upset. If you're into SEO I'm sure you have noticed that the Google added a +1 button

recently which is supposed to have a big effect on rankings. Of course there is a fiverr gig for that as well. User anujobra will get you 30 +1's for a fiverr. I'm interested in this gig if those +1's are

so important. I'm also interested in a fiverr gig that would narrow down on some keywords, as I have done no on page optimization.

These are some of the gigs that I am looking into:

pravgarg who "will mak an attractive squioo lens". There's a lot of talk about squiddo lens'

boosting ratings, so I feel like I need to jump on the bandwagon. I've been unsuccessful at creating one myself that gets approved, so this will be a

necessary gig. He also has some other good gigs for getting it book marked.

Markp: will submit my site to over 30k statistic sites. I'm not

exactly sure how much of affect this will have but he has good reviews, so worth a shot.

seoexpertseo: will deliver the best organic keywords for 1st page google rankings. I really want

to see how his $5 keyword research compares to the hours of research I've done for my other sex toy website.

Spin and submit article to 1200 directories COMPLETE

Ok fiverr people that gig has been complete. It was done by Mikemeth. The final report only included 450 as opposed to 1200, but that is justifiable as not all the info may have been extractable. The spinning of the article made some of them nearly unreadable, or sounding like they are written from a beginning english student. However the link is what I was going for here. With regard to the link, it was only in the source box, as opposed to anchor text in the article itself... A little disappointed there. Also to note the majority of links in the article were from page rank 0 sites. Overall I give the gig 2 decent B cups.

1st non waste of $5

Today I finally recieved the article about relation ships from fiverr Ditas, who I mention in the other post. She was a a day late, but for $5... no biggie. Surprisingly the title was "How to spice up your relationship and bring back the hot and sizzling romance" which is seemingly close to the title of an article I wrote a few weeks ago which was not very submission directory friendly -- "How to Spice Up Your Relationship WIth Sex Toys". ANyhow the article was well written, and did a better job of not being so blunt about that fact that it was about sex toys, so hopefully it'll be accepted to more directories. I'll post a link to the article as soon as I get it submitted.

On another note:

I hired someone to submit and spin the article. MikeMeth will Spin the article and submit it for a fiverr. That should build some good links for sextoywizard.com

I am still waiting on Polar's link wheel. The status shows very late but that is due to failure on my end. Because I did not have an article in time Polar offered to scrape and article and make it unique for the project. Props to Polar from.... perhaps not from you.

I've kind of decided to let graphics and logo for SexToyWizard.com go to the back burner. My first SEO project will be by polar who will create a linkwheel for the site. After submitting payment he asked for an article but said it could be done with keywords just. I know the Goog like high quality articles so I went in search of an article writer.

hor text. Both of those projects are in progress. I'm really hoping Ditas writes some awesome stuff because I have endless writing tasks to be done.

Wow Those Boobs Are Really Distracting

So I woke up today the 4th hungover at about 1pm and then logged on to the internet only to find a problem with sensualsizz.com. It's quite complex and I really don't feel like explaining it, but just know it was really complicated and I lost a few sales on the RealTouch, which is my hottest item. That totally sucks! After a few hours of being "plugged in" everything is good.

I've been looking forward to my fiverr project so when I finished with SensualSizz.com I decided to set the site up graphically and perhaps look for a wizard. I also installed StatCounter and Analytics. Then I came on blogger to blog about it, but I got distracted by those awesome boobs. While I was distracted my lady friend came in, and she was also distracted so she didn't even notice my distraction. But she's awesome and love boobs so she wouldn't have cared even if she was distracted.

Anyhow I pulled the background from stylesheet of Sensualsizz.com and installed in on SexToyWizard.com. Then I found a cool tool called Instant Eyedropper which dectects the html number of any color on your color in your browser. I used this to set the colors similar to SensualSizz.com. After that I went to work on a temporary header. I'm really not a graphics guy at all, and I hate photopshop, so I use pixlr.com. It's like an online, kind of dumbed down version of a photoshop. I found a free wizard and twitter/Facebook icons on Iconspedia.com. A few minutes later I had a semi-decent header. I also found a cool peel-away for RealTouch that I installed, and I am going to try to figure out a way to get it to link back to my sensualsizz.com . Here is the site as it stands now:

Maybe I'll start with a logo.

Once I get a logo, then I can just use that to header. Hell I might do that myself. ANyhow in my search for a logo designer I ran across an awesome pair of boobs, and 3 potential logo designers. First the boobs belong to Sweetsugarsugar on Fiverr.com:

For $5 she will write and photograph whatever you want on her awesome breasticles. She also ha a cute ass but the pic is really small. Anyhow back to the logo, as always I have to send out a test message to make sure everyone is ok with adult sites. I sent the following message to iamabdus, Reand, and Allodenny:

Hello I was wondering if you could design a logo for an adult novelty site. It would be a character style logo. The name od the site is sextoywizard.com... character would be a wizard.

My first waste of $5

Well mates, that didn't take long. I woke up this morning, had some some totally awesome sex, then walked my naked ass into my computer room to check the e-mail. I had an e-mail from fiverr saying I had a message or whatever. I excitedly checked it and it was from Hendratok saying that my header was done. To say the least I was not impressed, really not impressed. For starters the banner mentions "slicksextoy" which is some other sex toy company. I have no idea how that happened. I did want it to be transparent as well, which is an easy direction to follow. THe words SexToyWizard.com look like completely tack, and wizard.... is witch, but she is holding a dildo.

I'm not going to complain about this overall though. I mean it is only $5, wtf can I expect. And so much for being a jew on my project and getting one person to do it all. I'm probably going to need someone to do a cartoon wizard, then a logo, then I'll do the header. I'm not sure. ANyhow here is ther banner:

To put in perspective I would use Hedratok again, and probably will, but after I get my logo.

Lets Get Some Wizards.

Obvisouly for this site I will need a wizard graphic. I need the wizard, a header image for the site, and a logo to use for twitter and facebook. That looks like $15, but since this a cheapo project, let's see if we can field it into 2. I'll tell the banner designer to put a wizard in the banner. Then I'll tell the logo to guy to use the wizard from the banner. I love being a Jew. One problem I run into is that some people won't work on a site that has images of mild dildos and sexually suggestive toys, and the word S-E-X in the domain. So instead of wasting time selecting somebody, putting the money into their account, and getting an e-mail the next day saying "blah, blah, blah.... hate sex" I sent out a fielding e-mail to those with good rankings and see who is ok doing dirty work. Not bad for five fucking dollars. His work looks pretty good and can be seen on his site here: cheapheaders.info. His work is different than what I'm looking for but wtf its $5. I need to let my domain propagate so he can see the site. Once that happens by tomorrow morning I'll hire him and get $5 wizard in action.

I do have a few benefits here that would cost people beyond a fiverr. I'm already is the sex toy business so finding a niche was easy. I can set up a sex toy website in a few minutes with ease, but still free. Lots of people will probably want to ask how, so I'll answer it simply -- go fuck yourself. With all due respect this is my niche, and this is a competitive world. Figure it out the same way I did.

The domain SexToyWizard.com is one that I bought recently on a spur of the moment kind of idea. I was building Sensualsizz.com and one day I woke up and thought "OMG that's such a shitty domain for seo". Then I had a brain storm with my friend Marley who gave me the wizard idea. I loved it, and sextoywizard.com was available. I bought it 5 minutes later on my Iphone, and continued to brianstorm with Marley for wizard ideas. When I got home, I immediately got on my computer and hired a freelancer to design a wizard and logo for $160. I then transferred the site that is now SensualSizz.com to SexToyWizard.com. Two days later, I woke up and realized that this whole fucking wizard idea was complete shit. Well, not really shit but it went against my reasons for choosing SensualSizz.com. Anyhow I ran my naked ass out of bed, to the computer and got on Elance.com to tell the freelancer I no longer wanted my wizard. He hadn't done any work on it so he gave me money back -- little did he know he was going to be replaced by some cheapo for $5 wizards. lol.

I really like SexToyWizard.com. It has the keywords, and the branding Ideas for a wizard are endless. Maybe I'm weird but I really like the wizard concept. Anyhow I am slightly afraid of being sandboxed with my $5 SEO blasting. I really like the domain and would like to age it and who knows what I might use it for so I hope it doesn't get sandboxed.

Project Origination.

Earlier today I ran across Fiverr.com while researching internet marketing. A few hours later I realized that I had spent a few hours scouring the pages of Fiverr.com like a google crawl bot.

For those of you unsure what Fiverr.com is (by now you've probably googled it), it's a we site where people do all kinds of different totally rad shit for $5. Stuff ranges from seo work to being your virtual girlfriend for a week. I was mostly shocked at all the stuff I could get done for $5 that had been paying freelancer vast amounts more to do, especially with regard to SEO work. Of course I'm always skepitcal and with due just as people are selling services so cheap. I considered buying some seo services for my sex toy website SensualSizz.com, but I didn't want to risk blackhat seo methods on my baby, or my baby being associated with porn or whatever other shenanigans $5 SEO work might lead to. Still intrigued by Fiverr.com and scared to test the waters with my Sensualsizz.com I came to the idea of why not start a site and use $100 spent exclusivly on Fiverr.com to take a shot at it. If it works I'm a genius. If it doesn't work, it's just a $100, some lessons learned, and an Amen that I didn't try it on my baby.
